Announcing our 5th annual Sunrise Gathering fundraiser

Free Play Joy

a fundraising festival of art & storytelling to help youth be valiant

December 13th • 12:30 - 4:30pm Epic Center • Downtown Kalamazoo

PRESENTED BY THE KOA FUND AND OUR COLLABORATING PARTNERS:

PRESENTED BY THE KOA FUND AND OUR COLLABORATING PARTNERS Face Off Theatre Company, Wellspring Dance Company, Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, and The Epic Center

Join us for a magical afternoon presented by the Koa Fund and our partners at the Epic Center, Face Off Theatre Company, and Wellspring Dance Company.

This year’s Community Art & Storytelling fundraising event features the musicianship and artistry of Jordan Hamilton & Miglodesh, along with sound teachers, dancers, youth artists, sonic food and drink, a treasure hunt and more.

As we continue Koa’s story through support for youth-focused nonprofit agencies and programs, Soundscape centers on what we hear and experience around us, challenges us to be listening and fully awake, and asks us individually and as a Koa Fund community:

STEP 1: REGISTER

Please let us know if you will join us on December 13th. And if you will be, who’s joining you.

STEP 2: DONATE

We suggest a donation of $75 for each Sunrise Gathering guest.

So if you have little, give little, and if you have abundance, give a little extra. Generosity inherently operates on a sliding scale.

And remember, 100% of your donation goes to our youth development partners. Thanks for your support in helping youth #bevaliant

To donate by check, please address it to KZCF with Koa Fund in the memo line, and mail it to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, 402 E. Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49007

The Koa Fund is a component fund of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. We are honored to be part of an organization that supports so much goodness in this community.
