Koa’s Friendly Garden (KFG) lives at the lakeside cottage of AnneMarie, Koa’s aunt and Koa Fund Co-Founder. The spring after Koa’s passing, AnneMarie and her husband wanted to plant something for Koa. KFG was born of inspiration by the brand under which Koa sold her cheerful and brightly pigmented artistic creations -  Koa’s Friendly Colors - as well as life’s insistence on offering joyful encounters even within the experience of deep pain. We transformed an old circular garden into a vibrant, living expression of the balance of seemingly opposing forces. One side of the garden holds plants already present on the land where the garden sits, and the other is home to new colors, shapes and forms. Koa’s Friendly Garden is a living expression of yin-yang, where the whole is not simply the coexistence of apparent opposites, but rather the unity of them…and where we find harmony and beauty in duality, paradox, diversity, and change.

Participation fee is a suggested Koa Fund donation of $20, or $30 per family or household. Click here to reserve your spot for Koa Yoga then donate below.
